The Product Manager is responsible for the product/solution planning and execution throughout the product/solution lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritising customer requirements, defining the vision, and working closely with sales, marketing, network and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s role also includes ensuring that the product solutions and services support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
What’s on the TABLE
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products/solutions by conducting appropriate market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
- Support market information with direct feedback from sales and marketing teams
- Constantly review the market and ensure that products and solutionss are constantly evolving so that they provide innovative solutions with clear USPs
- Working with network engineering teams, sales, marketing and finance to define product specification, pricing, propositions and positioning
- Developing and implementing, with marketing, the go-to-market plan including ensuring the production of both technical and non technical collateral in support of the product/solution sale
- Ensure that budgets are controlled and that there is a clear ROI for each product line
- Ensure that the customer care and quality of support is appropriate to the product
- Recognise the end of life cycle and withdraw product appropriately

What YOU need
- Background in product management essential, within a technology environment – must have experience of small fast growth business
- Demonstrable experience in managing the whole product lifecycle for technical/telecoms connectivity product
- Experienced with wireless technology and network build – could be ISP/WiFi/small telco business
- Commercial approach, appreciates the importance of revenue achievement, margin control and ROI
- Will have worked in a customer focused B2B environment with good understanding of customer requirements/market
- Must demonstrate a hands on approach – consistent deliver
